A downtown Nashville landmark was lit in Vanderbilt University colors the evening of May 16 to cap a weekend of celebrations for the Class of 2021.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge, which spans the Cumberland River, was lit in black and gold beginning at dusk on Sunday.

Vanderbilt conferred degrees for 1,712 undergraduates and 2,220 graduate and professional students during Commencement exercises May 15–16. The ceremonies for Vanderbilt’s 146th class were held in person across campus as well as virtually.
