New ground stickers across campus encourage ‘Meditation on the Go’

Students, faculty and staff walking on campus this week may have noticed new “Meditation on the Go” ground stickers outside The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons, Sarratt Student Center and most residence halls.

The meditation tracks were created by University Counseling Center therapist Heather Boyd to encourage moments of calm awareness. Meditation is a great way to help relieve stress, improve focus and boost mood. The effects can last well beyond a single meditation session and even improve sleep.
