Those seeking non-emergency (non-life-threatening) care for illnesses or injuries should visit a walk-in clinic instead of going to the Vanderbilt emergency department. The walk-In clinic is equipped to handle many types of urgent visits, accepts walk-ins, and is often quicker and cheaper than a visit to the ED.
