Zack Eagles, who is the visual media manager in Vanderbilt’s Division of Communications, was honored with an Emmy Award from the Midsouth Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences during the organization’s livestreamed ceremony on Feb. 27.
Eagles won in the Informational/Instructional category for his series “Student Athlete: The Vanderbilt Way,” which profiles individual student-athletes for their academic and athletic excellence. This is the second straight year Eagles has won for the Vanderbilt Student Athlete series.
Vanderbilt University’s video unit has received 53 Midsouth Regional Emmy nominations and won 15 times since its creation in 2007.
