Explorations in Research, networking event for faculty researchers and students, set for Feb. 23

The third annual Explorations in Research, an event designed to convene researchers from all disciplines to network with students and discover possible new collaborations, will be Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. CT. The event, hosted by the Office of Immersion Resources in partnership with Scientific Immersion and Mentorship, will be conducted via Zoom.

This year’s event will open with remarks from Associate Provost of Research Douglas Schmidt followed by guided discussions in breakout rooms and a networking session at the end for attendees. Faculty from all disciplines are invited to meet with other faculty and students interested in cross-campus and Immersion Vanderbilt project collaboration.

Faculty, staff and students who are interested in participating in or attending Explorations in Research can register online. Zoom links will be sent via email to all registered attendees. Registration will remain open through the day of the event.
