Immersion plan proposals due April 1; series of online events planned to help

The April 1 deadline to submit immersion plan proposals is approaching for students who matriculated during the summer and fall of 2019 and those tracking with that class. The Office of Immersion Resources is joining with many campus partners to help students meet this goal.

Students in all phases of immersion project planning will find helpful resources at the events hosted throughout the months of February and March. All events will be virtual and hosted through Zoom. The February list of events is below, and links can be found on the immersion portal. Many events showcase student-produced work and faculty members who have helped students complete experiential learning projects. Other events will provide opportunities for students to brainstorm project ideas, ask for guidance on writing their plan proposals, and meet faculty from the various schools and colleges. At all events, students have a chance to speak with immersion ambassadors to get the student peer perspective on developing and submitting an immersion plan.

The full list of events can be found on the immersion portal. Questions should be directed to the Office of Immersion Resources.
