“Work-Life Integration? Parenting and the Academy” will be the topic of the next installment of Women in the Academy on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from noon to 1:15 p.m. The meeting will be held over Zoom.
Panelists for the Oct. 27 discussion will include:
- Janet Macdonald, assistant professor of chemistry
- Holly McCammon, Cornelius Vanderbilt Chair and professor of sociology
- Julianne Vernon, interim associate dean for academic success, School of Engineering
Women in the Academy, a program sponsored by the Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center, offers Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars a chance to reflect on the ways that gender affects their experience as they begin their professional journey in the academy.
