During the Oct. 3 home football opener against LSU, the Commodore football team will wear special helmets featuring a vintage Vandy logo first worn during the 1979-82 seasons.
This logo is part of the university’s College Vault merchandise collection. College Vault is a vintage-inspired collection of fashion-forward apparel and non-apparel items that pays homage to the university’s historical trademarks and traditions. Last year, Vanderbilt brought back a handful of vintage logos for the collection and created a dedicated College Vault space on the first floor of the Barnes & Noble at Vanderbilt bookstore.
For the 2020 season, Vanderbilt has added Nike College Vault items to the collection. There is no better way to cheer on the Commodores this season than to stock up on this vintage-inspired Black and Gold gear.
