7th annual Diverse ’Dores Day to be held virtually Sept. 15

Diverse ’Dores Day, an annual event showcasing the offices, organizations and departments on campus designed to empower and equip Vanderbilt community members to be agents of positive social change for the university, Nashville and the world at large, is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Now in its seventh year, Diverse ’Dores Day is traditionally centered on themes that relate to building and finding community, having pride in the diverse and complex identities of people across campus, and accepting and raising awareness about our cultural differences. The theme of this year’s event is “’Dores Inspired to Act.”

Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, Diverse ’Dores Day will be an online event this year. Participants can register for time slots to meet with staff of the various offices and engage in educational activities to learn more about the offices and the resources they offer. Participants who meet with three offices will be entered to win a prize.
