Vanderbilt Human Resources has announced a new professional development tool now available in Oracle Learning and an Employee Perks Program set to launch this fall as the university continues to add training and resources for employees.
Skillsoft, which is now available within Oracle Learning, provides online professional development content for continuous learning. The tool allows employees to choose from interactive courses, enlightening videos and practical simulations.
The tool includes more than 45,000 options, 65,000 videos and 7,000 courses.
Abenity, the university’s new Employee Perks Program, will launch soon for Vanderbilt employees.
Employees will have access to exclusive perks and more than $4,500 in savings on food, zoo tickets, movie tickets, kitchen appliances, oil changes, hotels, car rentals and more. Some features of the new program include:
- Nearby Offers: Use the show and save mobile coupons to quickly access savings on the go.
- eTickets On Demand: Save up to 40 percent with no hidden fees.
- Showtimes: Find movies, watch trailers and save up to 40 percent at a theater near you.*
- Monthly giveaways: Win cash, movie tickets, electronics and more with the monthly contests.
There are more than 302,000 available discounts across 10,000 cities in the United States and Canada. A launch date will be announced soon in MyVU.
