As CEO of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness (CEPI), Richard Hatchett is playing a lead role in the global effort to develop a vaccine for COVID-19. As of May 5, CEPI has establish a COVID-19 vaccine development portfolio comprising nine promising vaccine candidates, three of which are already in clinical testing.
