Enroll in multi-factor authentication to protect Vanderbilt systems and data

As the Vanderbilt community continues to engage in new modes of online collaboration for remote teaching, learning and work, it is essential that we boost our cybersecurity posture to protect our Vanderbilt systems and data. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is one of the best ways to protect our systems from cyberattacks. VUIT is asking everyone in the Vanderbilt community to enroll in the multi-factor authentication solution DUO. DUO can be utilized via an app on mobile phones and tablets.

MFA was introduced in March 2019 and is currently securing the Vanderbilt Virtual Private Network (VPN), PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Slate Owen Admissions, among many other applications. VUIT plans to expand the utilization of MFA to other applications in the near future. If you are already enrolled in DUO, there is no need to enroll again. If you are not enrolled in DUO, please visit the MFA website and click the Enroll Now button.
