All university-sponsored, non-Athletics events and gatherings are suspended through April 30 due to COVID-19.
The April 1 deadline to submit Immersion plan proposals is approaching for students who matriculated during the summer and fall of 2018. The offices of Immersion Resources, Residential Colleges, and Housing and Residential Experience are joining with many campus partners to help students meet this goal.
Students in all phases of Immersion project planning will find helpful resources at the “Spring Into Immersion” events hosted throughout the month of March. At the first event on March 10, “Navigating Immersion with the Humanities” will showcase student-produced work and faculty members who have helped students complete experiential learning projects. The next three events will provide opportunities for students to brainstorm project ideas, ask for guidance on writing their plan proposals, meet faculty from the various schools and colleges, and speak with Immersion Ambassadors to get the student peer perspective on submitting an Immersion plan. All events qualify for Personal Development GME credit.
