Chancellor’s Lecture featuring America Ferrera canceled; series continues with John Bolton, Susan Rice Feb. 19

The Chancellor’s Lecture Series event on Feb. 17 with America Ferrera is canceled. Ms. Ferrera had to withdraw from the event due to unforeseen circumstances.

The series continues on Wednesday, Feb. 19, with former National Security Advisors and Ambassadors to the United Nations John Bolton and Susan Rice, who will discuss “Defining U.S. Global Leadership” during a conversation hosted by Interim Chancellor and Provost Susan R. Wente at Langford Auditorium.

The event will begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are required for this event, which is free and open to the public.

The theme of the spring Chancellor’s Lecture Series, “Our Global Community,” aims to create conversations about our increasingly connected world. Journalist, CNN anchor and author Anderson Cooper will appear as part of the spring series on Sunday, March 15.
