Vanderbilt Student Government has announced the Adriel Bineza Graduate School Equity Fund, a new program that will assist students with the cost of applying to graduate or professional school.
The fund will grant eligible students $250 awards to pay for test preparation, interview travel, application fees and other costs associated with the pursuit of postgraduate education.
The fund is named in memory of Adriel Bineza, VSG’s former economic inclusivity chair, who worked tirelessly to lower economic barriers and increase equity and opportunity for all students on campus.
The application can be found on AnchorLink and is open until Sunday, Jan. 26. All students who are eligible for need-based financial aid and are in the process of preparing for any graduate school admissions tests and/or currently applying to graduate school may apply. Further information can be found on the AnchorLink application.
