Bruce R. Evans, chairman of the Vanderbilt University Board of Trust

To the Vanderbilt community:

Thank you for the tremendous input regarding your priorities and hopes for Vanderbilt’s ninth chancellor. Your feedback has been thoughtful, wide ranging, and illuminating. It has further confirmed the vital importance of hearing from as many members of our community as possible.

To prolong this momentum and enable as much participation in this process as possible, we are extending the deadline for filling out the online feedback form by several days, to Monday, Sept. 9, at 10 p.m. CT. The brief questionnaire can be found at vu.edu/chancellor-search.

After the feedback window closes on Monday, the Chancellor Search Advisory Committee will prepare a summary report of the input we have received so far throughout the search for use by the Chancellor Search Committee as it continues its work. And going forward, your thoughts will continue to steer the process.

We hope you will take advantage of this additional time to shape your thoughts and share your hopes about our next leader, our university and our collective future.

Sincerely,
Bruce R. Evans
Chairman, Vanderbilt University Board of Trust
