Faculty from all schools and colleges are invited to join members of the Immersion Faculty Steering Committee, which provides guidance to the Office of Immersion Resources, and Vice Provost for Academic Affairs Vanessa Beasley for an Immersion Vanderbilt information session on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall, Room 202.
The purpose of the session is to guide attendees through the newly released ImmersionHub system and provide guidance on using the opportunities proposal form to advertise faculty-led initiatives that are available to undergraduate students.
“With the recent unveiling of the Opportunities Database in ImmersionHub, faculty now have a single platform through which to invite undergraduate participation in their research and course-related projects,” Beasley said. “The ability of faculty to reach such a large audience of students interested in their work is an exciting new feature of Immersion Vanderbilt and this system.”
A brief presentation will be followed by a reception, at which attendees can speak directly with representatives from the Immersion Faculty Steering Committee, the Office of Immersion Resources, and several partner offices that support Immersion Vanderbilt.
