Parking registration open for faculty and staff

Registration now open for faculty and staff; current permits expire Aug. 31

VUPS Parking Services has opened registration for vehicle permits. Faculty and staff may log in online with their VUnetID and password to register their vehicle for the 2019-20 academic year.

To register, please have the following information available:

  • Vehicle license plate number
  • State of vehicle registration
  • Vehicle make, model, year and color

Please note, last year, all physical permits were transitioned to a virtual permit verified by license plate recognition. Once a registration is purchased, it is automatically active. Please take care to ensure that the license plate number entered during registration is accurate.

DAILY PARKING RATE OPTION COMING SPRING 2020

In response to requests for more flexible parking payment options and to help achieve the university’s sustainability goal of reducing drive-alone trips to campus, Vanderbilt will explore piloting a daily parking rate option for the Terrace Place, Wesley Place and Sony garages in Spring 2020. More details on the daily parking rate option will be forthcoming.

Current annual parking permit holders that utilize monthly payroll deduction will be able to cancel their annual permit and opt in to the daily rate when it becomes available. This effort is being done in collaboration with MoveVU, the mobility and transportation strategy under FutureVU, the university’s initiative to enhance the places on campus where community members live, work and learn.

Vanderbilt University offers a wide variety of transportation options. Faculty and staff can take advantage of the free MTA ride to work program, vanpools, express buses, Music City Star discounts, Zipcars, Enterprise CarShare and much more.
