Celebrate the Vandy Boys’ victory in the College World Series
Commodore fans are invited to meet the Vanderbilt baseball team at 12:15 p.m. today, Thursday, June 27, as they arrive on campus following their NCAA Championship victory in Omaha. Fans should gather at the Hawkins Field main entrance.
A community celebration will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Facility of the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a commemorative poster.
Gates for the celebration will open at 3:30 p.m., and fans may enter through the Fieldhouse entrance. Parking will be available in the non-reserved spaces of the 25th Avenue Garage.
