Commodore fans gathered outside Hawkins Field on Wednesday, June 12, to cheer on the Vanderbilt baseball team as they headed to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Commodores are making their fourth College World Series appearance in nine seasons and won the national championship in 2014.
No. 2 national seed Vanderbilt begins its 2019 title hunt against No. 7 national seed Louisville at 1 p.m. Sunday from TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. The contest can be seen on ESPN and heard on WNSR 560 AM/95.9 FM and VUCommodores.com.
