Temporary closures necessitated by construction related to gate installation at garages is part of the MoveVU initiative, Vanderbilt’s transportation and mobility strategic plan. More details about MoveVU program options for the 2019-20 academic year will be available later this summer.
Employees’ ability to park will not be impacted if they have a current vehicle registration for the respective garage’s zone.
Terrace Place Garage
Effective Tuesday, May 28, the west entrance to Terrace Place Garage (entrance closest to the Baker Building) will close until June 10, then again from June 20 through June 26.
The east entrance (entrance closest to 20th Avenue) will close from June 10 through June 19 and again from June 26 through July 2.
Periodic lane closures around the garage can be expected during this timeframe.
Wesley Place Garage
Work in Wesley Place Garage will begin Monday, June 10 and end on Friday, June 14. Temporary lane closures within the garage will occur.
No entrances will be closed.
Sony Garage
On Tuesday, June 24, the exit lane on 18th Avenue will be closed for approximately one week. Traffic will be directed during the closure.
