The Boomers, Elders and More speaker series will present “Caregiving During Work Hours” from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at the Godchaux Nursing Annex, Room 166.
Debra King will discuss the additional challenges that come with caring for a loved one while working full-time and the resources available to aid in this new role.
King has been on staff as an elder care coordinator at Takacs McGinnis Elder Care Law since 2006, with 10 years prior experience as a discharge planner in Nashville. This background gives her a special understanding of the needs and challenges facing the elderly and their families during every phase of the elder care continuum.
