Thirty division administrators from Vanderbilt University Medical Center have been awarded certificates of excellence by Vanderbilt Executive Education.
In its inaugural LEAD (Leader and Executive Administrator Development) program, VUMC sent 30 division administrators to the Owen Graduate School of Management for leadership development. Over the course of 18 months, participants in the program completed four learning workshops, including Operational Excellence, Leadership Coaching, Managing with Strategic Intent, and Communication Strategies for Senior Leadership.
Dave Dilts, adjunct professor of management; Mark Cannon, associate professor of leadership, policy and organizations and adjunct professor of management; Ranga Ramanujam, who holds the Richard M. and Betty Ruth Miller Chair in Healthcare Management; and Kimberly Pace, professor of the practice of management, led the program content.
