A&S sophomore wins big on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Barton Christmas, a sophomore in the College of Arts and Science, won more than $15,000 on Wheel of Fortune in an episode that aired Friday to conclude the long-running game show’s annual “College Week.”

Christmas, a Paducah, Kentucky, native studying history and secondary education, took home an all-cash prize of $15,650.

Christmas auditioned for the show in Nashville in December and attended a call-back the following month before being cast. His episode taped in Los Angeles in February.
