Operational Partner Award

We are delighted to present the award for Outstanding Operational Partnership to Vanderbilt Quality, Safety, and Risk Prevention, whose mission is to equip and empower VUMC faculty and staff to offer care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered. QSRP brings an essential element to a true Learning Healthcare System. In trying to “learn from what we do, and do what we learn,” partnerships and team science are critical. QSRP is uniquely poised with expertise in clinical effectiveness, data analytics, emergency preparedness, infection control, and more! In addition to their suite of initiatives, QSRP enriches and informs others. In collaboration with various research efforts, such as those undertaken by the LHS Platform group or CCQIR, there is the opportunity to synergistically examine processes, interventions, and outcomes across the enterprise and effect change. Collectively, we are all committed to improving the quality, safety, and value of care for our patients. This is the fabric of a Learning Healthcare System.
