The Global Education Office encourages students to consider the following incentives for fall 2019 study abroad.

This fall, most students studying abroad on a GEO program will receive up to $1,000 in scholarships to help maximize the study abroad experience. These scholarships will extend automatically to students on eligible programs, so additional applications are not required.

In addition, fall study abroad students will register early for spring VU classes, before their on-campus peers.

Students who study abroad in the fall also will receive special housing perks after they return from abroad—priority for housing assignments in spring 2020, and a housing lottery bonus for off-campus authorization or for single rooms for the 2020–21 academic year.

Applications for most fall 2019 programs are due Feb. 27. Deadlines for a few programs have already passed. See all program deadlines here.
