Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos will host a town hall with faculty members on Friday, Feb. 1, to gather input on the fundraising priorities that should drive the university’s next capital campaign. The town hall will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Student Life Center Board of Trust Room.
The university is in the planning stages of an upcoming capital campaign that will include a significant focus on raising funds to fulfill long-term goals of the Academic Strategic Plan, which was developed with the input of hundreds of faculty members from across the university. The campaign will be formally announced and launched in 2020.
Past capital campaigns have funded initiatives that have shaped the Vanderbilt experience, including endowed chairs and professorships, Opportunity Vanderbilt, initiatives in research and graduate education, residential colleges, and much more.
