Vanderbilt University Printing Services has launched Digital StoreFront (DSF), a new online print system for students, faculty and staff to customize and order official Vanderbilt stationery products, upload files for custom print jobs, or create signs, posters and banners.
With Digital StoreFront, users can view an online proof of their print job along with an instant cost estimate based on a job’s print options. Billing is internal and is charged through Oracle ICT, resulting in a simplified ordering process with no need for the requisitions or purchase orders normally associated with an external vendor purchase.
Printing Services’ Digital StoreFront is fully integrated with Vanderbilt single sign-on, allowing secure access to a user’s order history and on-demand reorders.
Future enhancements will include customizable brand-compliant design templates for posters, flyers and other print products, as well as new products added to the storefront weekly.
“The launch of Digital StoreFront is the culmination of two years of design and configuration, and represents the next step in the transformation of Printing Services,” said Sean Carroll, director of business services operations. “Our goal is to support the academic mission of Vanderbilt by providing effective stewardship of resources, ease of service and excellent quality.”
