Vandy Cooks: ‘Fall, a time for Tailgating’

Presenter: Chef Jason Porter, executive chef for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt

Porter will share his 28 years of culinary expertise at the Nov. 7 Vandy Cooks. The featured recipes are jerk chicken wings, guacamole, baked tortilla chips and pineapple yogurt sauce. Attendees will receive samples of the foods prepared and their recipes.

Vandy Cooks is provided monthly through a partnership between the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center and Health Plus to support healthy eating through cooking presentations featuring the many aspects of food preparation.
