The Vanderbilt NROTC Alumni Association will host its 10th annual National Security Symposium on Friday, Oct. 12, at 4 p.m. in Sarratt Cinema. This year’s event features ADM (Ret) William Gortney speaking on “The Strategic Landscape.” Gortney is the former commander of the U.S. Fleet Forces, NORAD and the Northern Command. The event is free and open to the public. A reception in the Sarratt Lobby precedes to lecture beginning at 3:15 p.m.
