Academic Pathways Postdoctoral Fellows application opens Oct. 1 

The next call for applications for the Vanderbilt Academic Pathways Postdoctoral Fellowship opens Oct. 1.

The Academic Pathways Postdoctoral Fellowship program is a research/mentorship program that is designed to bridge fellows between academic training and entry-level faculty positions. The program focuses on preparing doctoral students with diverse backgrounds and experiences and includes leadership training, grant and manuscript writing and preparation, a multi-level mentoring framework, as well as substantial “protected time” for the pursuit of each fellow’s academic and scholarly objectives. The Academic Pathways program is open to all programs of study within the College of Arts & Science, Owen Graduate School of Management, Peabody College of Education and Human Development, School of Divinity, School of Engineering, School of Law, School of Medicine and School of Nursing.

The Academic Pathways program run by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs in the Vanderbilt Graduate School is sponsored by the Office of the Provost with additional funding from the Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate of the National Science Foundation. Priority will be given to non-Vanderbilt applications.

The application deadline is Nov. 1.
