Student proposal deadline for Undergraduate Research Fair is Sept. 6

All Vanderbilt undergraduate students involved in research, independent scholarship or creative activities over the past year are invited to showcase their work at the fifth annual undergraduate research fair and poster session. To participate, complete the online registration form located on the Vanderbilt Research Fair website by Sept. 6.

The event, held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Student Life Center’s Commodore Ballroom, provides a forum for students to present both curricular and co-curricular research conducted alongside a faculty mentor. Posters include for-credit projects, such as honors thesis research, as well as not-for-credit projects. Category prizes are awarded to students that most effectively convey their work to those outside their discipline.

Last year’s fair showcased 147 poster presentations, and more than 300 faculty, students, staff and community members attended the event.
