Friends and colleagues surround R. Daniel Beauchamp, MD, during a recent reception honoring him for his many contributions and dedicated service as chair of the Section of Surgical Sciences since 2001. Beauchamp, the John Clinton Foshee Distinguished Professor of Surgery, moves into the newly created position of Vice President for Cancer Center Network Affairs on July 1.
