While it wasn’t quite the Rite(s) of Spring most of the Vanderbilt community is familiar with, the South Asian Cultural Exchange welcomed students to Wyatt Lawn on April 15 as part of a weekend-long celebration of the Hindu festival known as Holi. The tradition, observed widely in India and Nepal, heralds the arrival of spring with lively music, food, friends and colorful paint powders.
