VECAP elects new leadership team

The Vanderbilt Event Coordinators And Planners organization has elected a new leadership team for 2018-19. Leading the group for a third term is Scotty Glasgow, director, and newly elected assistant director Jenelle Spicer.

“We are thrilled to continue the growth and improvement of this organization,” Glasgow said. “Now with over 175 members, VECAP has become the go-to organization for event logistics, planning and development on Vanderbilt’s campus. We couldn’t do all that we do without the tremendous engagement from our members and abundant support from the university. Our mission is to build an internal resource that brings a higher degree of excellence and professionalism to special events at Vanderbilt as well as facilitate the professional growth of our members through education and quality vendor relationships.”
