Nominations are being accepted through July 31 for the 2018-19 Chancellor’s Heart and Soul Staff Appreciation Awards. The awards, first given in 2017-18, recognize university staff for their day-to-day dedication for and contributions to the campus community.

Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos personally presents the awards in the staff members’ departments or divisions. The recognition includes a $1,500 cash prize and an engraved, handcrafted wooden bowl by artist Brenda Stein. Last year, six staff members were chosen for the awards.
