The Office for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion hosted receptions April 6 recognizing Vanderbilt University’s Plant Operations, Public Safety and Printing Services staff. Throughout the day, staff members enjoyed refreshments and music at receptions across campus in appreciation of their work throughout the year.
“Staff are often the unsung heroes that help shape the diverse and inclusive culture of Vanderbilt,” Interim Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Tina Smith said. “Whether keeping us safe, beautifying our campus, or providing valuable services that help us communicate effectively, staff are a vital part of the university’s success.”
