All are invited to April 19 closing celebration for Local OACS DIVE projects

Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff are invited to the April 19 DIVE (Design as an Immersive Vanderbilt Experience) closing celebration sponsored by the Office of Active Citizenship and Service. The event is set for 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at The Commons Center.

The Local OACS DIVE programs include a theme-focused seminar series, service with a nonprofit organization, and hands-on experience applying human-centered design to address community-identified needs. At the event, students in the Refugee Resettlement Cohort are set to share their spring semester design projects.

DIVE community partners also will be on hand for the event. Light appetizers and refreshments will be served.

Applications are now open on Anchorlink for the fall 2018 cohorts of Local OACS DIVE: Affordable Housing, Food Waste/Food Deserts, and Refugee Resettlement. Learn more by visiting the Local OACS DIVE website.
