The Living Building Challenge is described as a “philosophy, certification and advocacy tool for projects to become truly regenerative.”
The first in a local series of focused discussions about the Living Building Challenge is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Vanderbilt Engineering and Science Building, Room 048. The event will be a case study of The Kendeda Building at Georgia Tech, presented by Lord Aeck Sargent of Atlanta, the architects designing the project.

This event is co-organized and presented by FutureVU, the Vanderbilt student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Wond’ry, the U.S. Green Building Council–Tennessee, AIA Middle Tennessee Committee on the Environment, Lord Aeck Sargent, and the Nashville Living Future Collaborative.
A reception sponsored by TLC Engineering for Architecture will follow the discussion. Parking will be available in the 25th Avenue Garage; please enter the garage from Highland Avenue.
