Tennessee Titans All-Pro defensive tackle Jurrell Casey visited with patients at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt recently. Casey partnered with the Starlight Children’s Foundation, an organization dedicated to creating moments of joy and comfort for hospitalized children and their families, and The Joy in Childhood Foundation, the charitable foundation supported by Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, to host a “day of joy” in the hospital. As part of the event, the Starlight Children’s Foundation donated custom hospital gowns and two mobile entertainment units to the hospital, and Casey participated in crafts, an interview and meet-and-greet with patients. Pictured, Children’s Hospital patients Andie Cate England and Isaiah White participate in a hospital gown coloring contest. The winning gown from the nationwide contest will inspire the design for a future Starlight Gown.
