Vanderbilt launches new Title IX and Student Discrimination, Student Access Services, Equal Employment Opportunity offices

Vanderbilt officially launched today its new offices that offer specialized services in three priority areas: equal employment opportunity (nondiscrimination/anti-harassment, faculty/staff accommodations, and affirmative action programs pursuant to Vanderbilt’s requirements as a federal contractor), Title IX (gender equity and sexual misconduct), and accessibility.

The three new offices—Title IX and Student DiscriminationStudent Access Services and Equal Employment Opportunity—replace the former Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and Disability Services (EAD).

Molly Zlock, who joined Vanderbilt Dec. 1, 2017, as Title IX compliance manager, is director of the Title IX and Student Discrimination office and Vanderbilt’s Title IX coordinator. Zlock’s office will handle all student reports of discrimination in an effort to streamline reporting for students. Tiffany Taylor is interim director of Student Access Services, and Anita Jenious is director of the Equal Employment Opportunity office.
