John Geer, Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Professor of Political Science, and Josh Clinton, Abby and Jon Winkelried Professor of Political Science, will present the results of the Fall 2017 Vanderbilt Poll-Tennessee via conference call Thursday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. CST.
The new poll’s findings will provide valuable and occasionally surprising insights relevant to these politically charged times. Between Nov. 16-Dec. 5, 2017, the researchers surveyed a demographically representative sample of about 1,000 Tennessee voters on a number of important state and national issues, including the 2018 senate and gubernatorial races, President Trump, health care reform, tax reform, bipartisanship and more.

About the Vanderbilt Poll
The Vanderbilt Poll is supported by the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions at Vanderbilt University. The statewide poll is typically conducted just before the start of each legislative session and at the end of each session, in part to determine how closely the results of the session align with voters’ expectations and priorities.
