Attention commuters: Participate in survey on HOV lane effectiveness

Researchers at Vanderbilt University and Tennessee State University are conducting a study to explore use and efficiencies of our High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes. It has been reported that Tennessee HOV lanes have a violation rate of nearly 90 percent. Thus, the main goal of this study is to better understand and manage congestion along key highway corridors.

We would appreciate your assistance and input by completing a short survey at the link below. Anyone who is interested may participate.

This survey is completely voluntary and should only take a few minutes of your time. Your responses will be kept anonymous and confidential.

Should you have questions or concerns about this study or survey, please contact Janey Camp at or 615-322-6013.

Your time and consideration are greatly appreciated.
