LGBT rights and health on the African continent

In a number of African countries where homosexuality is outlawed, LGBT advocacy groups leverage those countries’ strong commitment to public health by using HIV outreach as a way to support these populations. However, in Mozambique, the recent decriminalization of homosexuality has not made it easier for these advocacy groups to do their jobs.
