Academic Pathways Postdoctoral Fellows application opens Oct. 1

The next call for applications for the Vanderbilt Academic Pathways Postdoctoral Fellowships opens October 1st.

The Academic Pathways Postdoctoral Fellowship program is a research/mentorship program administered by the Graduate School that is designed to bridge fellows between academic training and entry-level faculty positions. The program focuses on preparing postdoctoral scholars with diverse backgrounds and experiences and includes leadership training, grant and manuscript writing and preparation and a multi-level mentoring framework, as well as substantial “protected time” for the pursuit of each fellow’s academic and scholarly objectives. The Academic Pathways program is open to all programs of study within the College of Arts & Science, Owen Graduate School of Management, Peabody College of education and human development, School of Divinity, School of Engineering, School of Law and School of Medicine.

The fellowships are sponsored by Vanderbilt’s Office of the Provost with additional funding from the Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate of the National Science Foundation. Priority will be given to non-Vanderbilt applications.

The application deadline is November 1st.  More information can be found at vu.edu/academicpathways.
