We know many of you are deeply concerned about President Trump’s decision to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. As Chancellor Zeppos shared in his statement today, Vanderbilt opposes this action and is committed to supporting and embracing our students regardless of their immigration status, citizenship or nationality.
We recommend that students who have concerns about their own citizenship status contact the Office of Inclusion Initiatives and Cultural Competence. IICC can then refer you to other resources as appropriate.

These include links to events and other resources being offered both on our Vanderbilt Campus and in our Nashville community. Vanderbilt Law School, La Alianza, and the Immigration Law Society will be hosting an academic panel on Thursday, September 14, at 12:00 p.m. in Flynn Auditorium at the Law School. Conexión Américas is providing support and education related to DACA. We will continue to keep that website updated as new information becomes available.
