Dear Vanderbilt community,
I am writing with sympathy and support for those affected by the catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, Louisiana and parts of the Gulf Coast. We are monitoring this situation closely as it continues to unfold.
To our students, faculty and staff, as well as those of you with families affected by this disaster: please know that we are here to support you during this difficult time and will continue to do so in the days and weeks to come as recovery begins. We are ready to help as you navigate the challenges caused by this unprecedented disaster. Students and parents, please see the message from Dean of Students Mark Bandas for student resources. To other affected Vanderbilt families and alumni, please know you have the compassion and sympathy of the entire Vanderbilt community during this incredibly difficult time.
