Thousands of Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center employees celebrated at the annual Employee Appreciation Picnic Tuesday on Library Lawn.
Teams from VU and VUMC Human Resources greeted employees as they made their way to food from Famous Dave’s, including chicken breasts, hot dogs and veggie burgers as well as sides and beverages.
Following lunch, employees visited booths to enter giveaways and pick up promotional items. Staff and faculty also enjoyed games of corn hole, hula hoop, and air guitar contests while PeeWee the Juggling Stilt Walker and Mr. C kept the Vanderbilt spirit high.
