Vanderbilt is a sponsor of the “Barely a 4K: Save Our Dragon” fundraiser on Sunday, April 23.
Race check-in is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. at McDougal’s Restaurant in Hillsboro Village. The race around Hillsboro Village starts at 9:45 a.m. McDougal’s will begin serving beer at 10 a.m., followed by food at 10:30 a.m.
Five dollars of each ticket sold will be donated to save the dragon sculpture in Fannie Mae Dees Park (also known as Dragon Park). Each $25 ticket includes a Save the Dragon t-shirt and two free beers from Yazoo Brewing Company.
