Jerry Wilmink traces his journey from research associate at the Air Force Research Laboratory to founder and CEO of WiseWear, a wearable technology company. WiseWear offers a line of luxury smart bracelets with standard fitness features and added safety features like phone notifications and distress messaging in urgent situations. Wilmink earned his bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from the School of Engineering. Wilmink delivers the school’s spring 2017 Chambers Family Entrepreneurial Lecture.
